Mallory Morehead Pritzl is joining Kovert Creative, stepping into the bi-coastal communications firm’s entertainment PR team, Variety reported.
Based in the company’s Los Angeles office, Morehead Pritzl will handle communications for a slate of programming-focused clients. According to Variety, that list includes “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Amy Poehler’s Paper Kite Productions, SmartLess Media, Bloomberg Media and Spotify.
SmartLess Media is tied to Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett, whose podcast and media operation sits among the brands Kovert works with, according to the report.
Kovert Creative co-CEO Lewis Kay praised the hire in a statement to Variety, calling Morehead Pritzl “sharp, strategic, and deeply connected across the entertainment landscape.” Kay added that her background with networks, streamers and studios made her “a natural fit” for the firm’s clients.
A resume across TV, streaming and studios
Morehead Pritzl arrives with nearly 15 years of entertainment industry experience, according to Variety. Her most recent post was director of corporate communications at Sony Pictures Television.
Before Sony, she worked in corporate communications and publicity roles at Amazon MGM Studios, Fox and NBC, the report said. Her career began in NBC’s Page program, the long-running entry point that has fed talent into the company’s entertainment and media divisions for decades.
Across those roles, Morehead Pritzl worked on programs including Fox’s “Bob’s Burgers,” NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and Sony’s “Jeopardy!,” according to Variety.

The hire puts Morehead Pritzl inside a firm whose roster spans performers, media brands and digital personalities. Variety reported that Kovert’s current clients include Jack Black, Colin Farrell, John Mulaney, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, Leanne Morgan, Will Forte, Zach Braff, Sean Evans of “Hot Ones,” Kareem Rahma of “SubwayTakes” and Markiplier.
On the brand side, Kovert Creative works with Bloomberg Media, Suntory Global Spirits, First We Feast, SmartLess Media and Spotify, among others, according to the report.
The move adds another veteran entertainment communications executive to Kovert’s Los Angeles operation as the firm continues serving clients across television, digital media, comedy, podcasting and consumer brands.
