Left Bank reshuffles top team under Charlotte Moore
Caroline Tucker joins in a new finance and operations post, while Charlie Goldberg steps up to chief commercial officer at Sony-owned Left Bank.

Left Bank Pictures is remaking its senior bench, with Charlotte Moore adding a new finance and operations chief and expanding the remit of one of the company’s longtime business leaders, Deadline reported.
Caroline Tucker, previously vice president of finance at Sony Pictures Entertainment, has been appointed to the newly created role of chief financial officer and operations. Sony owns Left Bank, so Tucker is staying within the wider Sony group while moving into the production company’s leadership structure.
Charlie Goldberg, who has led business affairs at Left Bank, has been promoted into a broader job as chief commercial officer, according to Deadline. Both Tucker and Goldberg will report to Moore.
What the new roles cover
Deadline reported that Tucker will oversee Left Bank’s financial reporting and operational work. Goldberg’s expanded brief will cover the company’s commercial plans, partnerships and future growth opportunities.
The changes follow the departure of chief operating officer Grace Wilson, who left the company a few weeks ago after nearly two decades, according to Deadline. The reshuffle gives Moore a fresh senior setup as she continues to put her stamp on the Sony-owned producer.
Moore joined Left Bank last year after serving as the BBC’s content chief. Since arriving, she has been building out her team, including bringing in Baby Reindeer executive Matt Jarvis as acting creative director, Deadline reported.
There have also been other senior changes. Development chief Ed Cripps moved to Neal Street, according to Deadline.
Moore points to growth
In comments reported by Deadline, Moore said the appointments would strengthen Left Bank’s leadership as the company looks toward its next phase. She credited Goldberg with playing a major role in the business over a number of years and said his wider post would let him take on more responsibility for commercial planning and future opportunities.
Moore also praised Tucker’s background in finance, operations and strategy, saying Tucker knows both Left Bank and the broader Sony business. She said Tucker and Goldberg would be important partners to her and the rest of the leadership team as the company grows and continues making television.
Left Bank remains best known for producing Netflix’s royal drama The Crown. More recent credits include Dept. Q and Dear England, according to Deadline.
The leadership reset places finance, operations and commercial strategy directly under Moore as she continues reshaping the company after her move from the BBC.
