Lewis Pullman boards Apple TV’s Guilty Creatures with Julia Garner
Variety reports Pullman will star opposite Garner in Apple TV’s true-crime thriller based on Mikita Brottman’s Tallahassee murder book.

Lewis Pullman is heading into another creature-titled project, this time for Apple TV.
Variety reports that Pullman will star opposite Julia Garner in “Guilty Creatures,” an upcoming thriller series adapted from Mikita Brottman’s true-crime book “Guilty Creatures: Sex, God, and Murder in Tallahassee, Florida.”
Garner was previously announced as a lead on the series on July 6, according to Variety. She is also attached as an executive producer through Alma Margo.
The series centers on a volatile romance that leads to murder, according to the show’s logline cited by Variety. The story follows two young lovers described as adulterous and religious, and tracks the emotional burden of living for 18 years as killers.
Pullman’s casting adds another notable screen credit to a run that has stretched across streaming, superhero fare and studio films. Variety notes that he recently starred in Netflix’s “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” based on Shelby Van Pelt’s novel of the same name.
That makes “Guilty Creatures” his second recent project with “Creatures” in the title, a tidy little programming coincidence for anyone keeping score at home.
Pullman is also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He played Sentry in “Thunderbolts” and, according to Variety, will return to the role in “Avengers: Doomsday.”
His other credits include Apple’s “Lessons in Chemistry,” Amazon’s “Outer Range,” “Top Gun: Maverick” and “Salem’s Lot.” Variety reports that he will next appear in “Spaceballs: The New One,” alongside his father, Bill Pullman.
Behind the camera, “Guilty Creatures” has a packed bench. Tomorrow Studios, which is an ITV Studios partner, developed the project and brought it to Apple, according to Variety.
Craig Gillespie is attached to direct and executive produce through Fortunate Jack Productions. Sarah DeLappe will write and executive produce, while Stuart Zicherman will serve as showrunner and executive producer.
The executive producer lineup also includes Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Alissa Bachner for Tomorrow Studios, Annie Marter for Fortunate Jack, and Brottman. Variety reports that Fortunate Jack Productions and Alma Margo both have first-look deals with Tomorrow Studios.
Pullman is represented by Anonymous Content, CAA and ID, according to Variety.
