Swapped, the animated Netflix original led by Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple, has broken into the streamer’s most popular movies list, Deadline reported.
The film now sits at No. 10 on Netflix’s movie ranking with 139.8 million views after 79 days on the platform, according to Deadline. The list tracks performance across 91 days, meaning the movie still has time left in its measurement window.
Deadline reported that Swapped could rise further once Netflix completes that full tracking period. For now, its landing on the list gives the spring release a new marker after an already fast start on the service.
A fast run for an animated original
Swapped had already made Netflix history earlier in its run. Deadline previously reported that the movie drew 38.7 million views during the May 4 to May 10 viewing window.
That total set a single-week record for an animated original at the studio, according to Deadline. The latest tally shows the movie has kept adding viewers well beyond that opening surge.
The film is a Netflix original animated feature from Skydance Animation and Netflix, with Jordan and Temple among its stars. Deadline reported the movie arrived on the platform this past spring.
Netflix’s most popular movies list is one of the streamer’s clearest public scoreboards, measuring the titles that draw the biggest audience over a set span. In this case, Deadline said the ranking uses 91 days of data, while Swapped has only logged 79 days so far.
Another Netflix title holds firm
Deadline also pointed to movement elsewhere on Netflix’s film chart this week. The Zoey Deutch romantic comedy Voicemails for Isabelle remains at No. 2 in its fifth week of release, according to the outlet.
Deadline noted that past films able to stay near the top of Netflix’s chart after more than a month on the platform have shown staying power. The outlet said that kind of chart life can be a sign a movie may reach numbers similar to earlier hits.
For Swapped, the next stretch is all about the remaining days in Netflix’s 91-day count. With 139.8 million views already logged by day 79, the animated feature has secured a place in the streamer’s most-watched movie ranks, with its final position still to be determined.
