Netflix’s Myron Bolitar cast just got a 10-person boost, Variety reported, adding Melissa Benoist, Bebe Neuwirth, Jamie Hector, Quincy Isaiah and more to the Harlan Coben adaptation.

Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens has been cast as a series regular. The other nine newcomers are recurring guest stars: Isaiah Hill, Amanda Warren, Quincy Isaiah, Bebe Neuwirth, Griffin Dunne, Melissa Benoist, Charlie Tahan, Jamie Hector and Sandrine Holt, according to Variety.

Who is in the Myron Bolitar cast?

Aikens will play Wanda Green, described as the smart, charismatic fiancée of Dwayne Richmond who is set on protecting both Dwayne and their relationship.

Hill plays Jayden Elder, a first-year college student and standout basketball prospect expected to be the top pick in the NBA draft. Warren plays Deanna Richmond, Dwayne’s mother, who is concerned about the strain on her son while trusting Myron.

Isaiah has been cast as Rodney Keys, one of Myron’s clients, an NBA player described as kind-hearted but prone to poor choices. Neuwirth plays Ellen Bolitar, Myron’s mother and a former public defender living in a home Myron bought for his parents before his own basketball path ended.

Dunne plays Alan Bolitar, Myron’s father and a close confidant who offers steady support. Benoist plays Valerie Simpson, a former tennis player attempting a comeback five years after a tragic and unexplained breakdown during a match.

Tahan plays Roger Quincy, described as an eccentric man trying to escape his history while repeatedly being pulled back toward it. Hector plays Avery Crowder, a man with a criminal history trying to break into the sports business by any means. Holt plays Detective Sharon Steele, a major case squad detective assigned to help investigate a high-profile crime.

The new names join previously announced leads Colin Woodell, KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero. Variety also reported that Chloe Fineman, Jabari Banks, Jamie McShane and Ben McKenzie had already been added to the series.

What is Netflix’s Myron Bolitar about?

The series is based on Coben’s Myron Bolitar novels, a book run that includes 12 published titles. Woodell stars as Myron, whose hopes of playing in the NBA end after an injury.

After that setback, Myron becomes a sports agent. The show follows him as he uses his wit, charm and a hard-edged partner to work inside the murky business of sports, where helping clients can put him in danger, according to the show’s logline cited by Variety.

David E. Kelley and Kyle Long are writing the series and serving as showrunners and executive producers. Kelley executive produces through David E. Kelley Productions, with Matthew Tinker also executive producing for the company.

Coben executive produces through Final Twist Productions, alongside Rick Muirragui. Greg Yaitaines is also an executive producer and will direct multiple episodes, Variety reported.
