Neuromancer teaser reveals Callum Turner’s Apple TV cyberpunk series
Apple TV showed the first Neuromancer teaser at San Diego Comic-Con, with Callum Turner introducing the William Gibson adaptation.

The Neuromancer teaser has arrived, giving San Diego Comic-Con fans the first look at Apple TV’s adaptation of William Gibson’s landmark cyberpunk novel, with star Callum Turner introducing the footage during the streamer’s Hall H panel on Saturday.
Turner appeared by video to greet the crowd and present the preview for the series, which Apple TV says will premiere on Jan. 22, 2027. The show is based on Gibson’s 1984 book and is set for a 10-episode run.
The series comes from creators Graham Roland and JD Dillard. Turner, a BAFTA winner, stars as Case, described by Apple TV as a damaged elite hacker pulled into a dangerous tangle of digital spying, criminal stakes and corporate secrets.
What is Neuromancer about?
Neuromancer follows Case after he is drawn into a high-risk job with Molly, played by Briana Middleton. Apple TV describes Molly as a razor-girl assassin, and the pair are set on a heist targeting a corporate dynasty hiding major secrets.
Gibson’s novel is one of the defining texts of cyberpunk science fiction, a genre built around advanced technology, powerful corporations and people trying to survive at the edge of the system. Apple TV’s version brings that world to television with hackers, espionage and high-stakes crime at the center of the story.
The cast reaches well beyond Turner and Middleton. Apple TV lists Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard and Clémence Poésy among the main ensemble, with Max Irons, Dane DeHaan, Junia Rees, Jordan Kouamé, Emma Laird, Marc Menchaca, André De Shields and Isabella Pappas also set to appear.
Behind the camera, Roland serves as showrunner. Roland and Dillard are executive producers alongside David Levine, Garrett Kemble and Zack Hayden for Anonymous Content; Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Adel “Future” Nur and Jason Shrier for DreamCrew Entertainment; Jennifer Haley; and Gibson.
Dillard is also directing the first three episodes, according to Apple TV. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content.
The Comic-Con rollout gives Apple TV a splashy first push for a title with built-in science fiction credentials. For fans of Gibson’s book, the key date is now on the calendar: Neuromancer is due to stream on Apple TV beginning Jan. 22, 2027.
