The Prime Video India CJ ENM deal is giving K-drama fans a lot to queue up: more than 100 Korean titles are headed to the service in India across the next two years, the companies said.

The multi-year distribution agreement covers 26 new CJ ENM titles, plus shows and films from the Korean studio’s back catalog. Prime Video India said new and upcoming titles in the slate will include English subtitles, along with dubbing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The pact expands the companies’ wider global relationship with a sharper focus on India. Prime members in India will be able to stream the titles at no extra charge, according to Prime Video.

What is in the Prime Video India CJ ENM deal?

The agreement adds a large batch of Korean programming from CJ ENM to Prime Video India, mixing new releases with earlier titles from the studio’s library. For viewers, it means a broader K-content shelf on the platform, including dubbed options in three Indian languages for new and upcoming shows.

The rollout begins with Yumi’s Cells Season 3, the next installment in CJ ENM’s franchise. According to the companies, Yumi’s Cells has previously led streaming charts in 81 countries, including the U.S., Brazil, France and the United Arab Emirates.

Other titles named for the slate include Filing for Love, which the companies said reached No. 1 in 105 countries, as well as The Legend of Kitchen Soldier and romantic comedy My Bias, My Boss.

The library side of the deal includes Dear X, Law in the City, Study Group, My Dearest Nemesis, Search: WWW and the first two seasons of Yumi’s Cells. Prime Video also pointed to CJ ENM titles including Legend of the Blue Sea, Prison Playbook, Mother and A Practical Guide to Love as part of the broader lineup arriving over the next two years.

The programming spans drama, thriller, romance, fantasy and action, with talent named by the companies including Kim You-Jung, Lee Jong-suk, Park Ji-hoon and Cha Woo-min.

Why India is getting a bigger K-drama push

Shilangi Mukherji, director and head of the SVOD business at Prime Video India, said the deal builds on the streamer’s relationship with CJ ENM and reflects growing interest in Korean content across Prime Video markets. She said Korean shows have drawn audiences through stories, characters and genre variety that travel beyond borders.

Seo Jangho, executive vice president of the platform division at CJ ENM, said Prime Video’s reach in India and work with local audiences made it a strong partner for bringing the company’s K-dramas to more viewers in the country.

The India pact follows earlier CJ ENM moves tied to the market. In May 2025, Prime Video and CJ ENM struck a multi-year global distribution agreement at the WAVES Bazaar market in Mumbai. That deal gave Prime Video worldwide rights, excluding Korea and China, to selected CJ ENM titles, including Head Over Heels.

CJ ENM later signed a separate September 2025 licensing agreement for 18 K-dramas to stream on Amazon’s free, ad-supported MX Player service in India.

Manish Menghani, director and head of content licensing at Prime Video India, said the company has been tracking what its customers watch and that demand for K-content has grown. He described the CJ ENM agreement as a response to viewer preferences and part of Prime Video India’s push to carry more international programming.
