Sara Gilbert house sale watchers have a fresh Hollywood real estate number to chew on: the Roseanne star has sold her Los Angeles farmhouse for $8.45 million, TMZ reported.
According to TMZ, the deal closed Wednesday for the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom property, ending a listing run that stretched for more than a year.
The home spans 6,388 square feet and sits on 0.36 acres near historic Hancock Park in Los Angeles’ Mid-City neighborhood, according to TMZ. The property also looks out toward an upscale country club in the area.

Gilbert sold the home for $8.45 million, TMZ reported. That is below the roughly $11 million price attached to the property when it first hit the market in April 2025, according to the outlet.
TMZ reported that the asking price came down more than once before the sale was completed. Even with the lower final number, the sale price is above what Gilbert paid for the place in 2016, when she bought it for $6,850,000, according to TMZ.
The math gives Gilbert a sale price roughly $1.6 million higher than her 2016 purchase price, before any costs, fees, taxes or improvements that were not detailed in the report.

The property is near Hancock Park, a well-known historic area in Los Angeles, and is located in the city’s Mid-City neighborhood, TMZ reported. The home sits on a relatively compact 0.36-acre lot, but the listing packs in plenty of high-end features.
According to TMZ, the farmhouse includes vaulted ceilings with skylights, a large deck outside, a swimming pool and a spa. Listing images credited in the report to Tyler Hogan and MK Sadler showed the property’s interiors and outdoor spaces.
The home’s country club outlook and resort-style outdoor setup put it squarely in celebrity-home territory, though the report did not name the buyer or disclose whether Gilbert has purchased another property.
Jamie Sher of the Sher Group and Jonah Wilson of Carolwood Estates held the listing, TMZ reported.
Gilbert, known to TV viewers for Roseanne, has not been reported by TMZ as commenting publicly on the sale.
