Sean Woods launches Intangible as his own Los Angeles-based management and production company, Deadline reported, setting up a new shop after nearly eight years as a manager and producer at Fourward.
The company will represent writers, directors and actors, according to Deadline. Its stated focus is on creative talent working across traditional entertainment and newer forms of storytelling.
Woods told Deadline that storytelling is both exciting and more competitive than ever. He said Intangible was created to find and support talent, build momentum and elevate distinctive voices and stories across any medium.

Intangible is a management and production company based in Los Angeles. In practical terms, that means Woods will represent clients as a manager while also developing and producing projects through the banner.
The launch gives Woods his own company after a long run inside established management firms. Before Fourward, Deadline reported, he spent six years as a manager and producer at Roar.
Who is joining Woods at the new company?
Several clients have moved with Woods to Intangible, according to Deadline. The roster includes Brendan McCarthy, whose credits include Grace and Frankie. McCarthy is developing the family drama Six Days to Sunday for HBO Max with Alex Kavallierou and Marta Kauffman’s Okay Goodnight.
Chidi Ajufo is also among the clients now with Intangible. Deadline reported that Ajufo recently wrapped work opposite Kristen Stewart and Wagner Moura in A24’s vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods.
Angela Bourassa, known for If You Were the Last, has joined the new company as well. Deadline reported that Bourassa has a novella due later this year through 831 Stories.
The client list also includes Teresa Sutherland, whose credits include Lovely, Dark, and Deep. According to Deadline, Sutherland has an original script set up at Screen Gems.
Polly Bennett, a director, movement director and choreographer with credits including The Crown, is another client at Intangible. Deadline reported that Bennett is working across Sam Mendes’ Beatles biopics.
What has Woods produced?
Woods’ production credits include If You Were the Last, the genre-blending romantic comedy starring Anthony Mackie and Zoë Chao. Deadline reported that the film premiered at SXSW.
He also served as an executive producer on HBO Max’s unscripted series Flip the Strip, according to Deadline.
The move puts Woods in the busy lane of Hollywood representatives trying to match clients with work across film, television and other formats. For Intangible, the first public signal is the client bench: writers, performers and creative talent already tied to projects at HBO Max, A24, Screen Gems and the Mendes Beatles films.
