TMZ is putting its newsroom on camera for a weekday live stream, giving viewers a look at the operation while stories develop and staffers talk directly with the audience.

According to TMZ, the stream runs every weekday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PT. The outlet says the feed takes viewers inside its newsroom during that window, with the action ranging from breaking news discussions to staff debates and lighter moments among the team.

The July 16, 2026 stream was presented on YouTube under the title “TMZ Live - Streaming Live From The Newsroom! - 7/16/2026.” The embedded player identified TMZ as the channel behind the broadcast and showed the channel with 5.15 million subscribers.

TMZ says viewer comments are part of the format. Staff members spend time addressing the audience during the stream, according to the outlet, making the chat a regular feature rather than background noise.

The newsroom stream also serves another purpose for TMZ. The outlet says it uses the live broadcast in the production of its “TMZ Live” television show, connecting the online feed with its TV operation.

What viewers can expect

TMZ describes the stream as unpredictable by design. The outlet says the room may react to a major story as it breaks, get pulled into an argument, or shift into joking around among staff.

The format is built around the day’s news cycle, so TMZ says each broadcast plays out differently. The stream’s weekday schedule gives regular viewers a set time to check in, while the content depends on what is happening in the newsroom.

The live stream page also links viewers to TMZ’s community guidelines for comments. A Disqus comments area was shown on the page, though the comments module displayed a message saying it was unable to load.

The page grouped the live stream with TMZ categories including Celebrity News, Live Stream, Internet Culture, TMZ Live and Viral. It also displayed links to other TMZ stories and photo posts around the stream module.

For viewers who want the direct feed, the July 16 broadcast was available through a YouTube player with a “Watch on YouTube” option.
