TMZ is putting its newsroom on camera for a weekday livestream, giving viewers a front-row look at the entertainment outlet while its staff works through the morning news cycle.
According to TMZ, the stream runs every weekday from 10:30 a.m. to noon PT. The broadcast is carried through YouTube, with Monday’s embedded video labeled “TMZ Live - Streaming Live From The Newsroom! - 7/20/2026.”
The outlet says the feed is meant to bring viewers inside the room as stories develop and staff members react in real time. TMZ describes the stream as a mix that can include breaking news, newsroom disagreements and lighter moments among staff.
Viewer participation is part of the setup. TMZ says comments play a major role in the livestream, and staff members spend time responding directly to people watching.
The livestream also feeds into the company’s television operation. TMZ says it uses the daily newsroom broadcast to produce its “TMZ Live” TV show.
The YouTube embed displayed on TMZ’s page included the channel name and showed TMZ with 5.15 million subscribers. The page also linked viewers to watch the broadcast on YouTube.
Alongside the livestream, TMZ’s page featured links to other entertainment and news items, including stories about former NFL player Le’Veon Bell, President Trump sharing a photo of J.D. Vance’s newborn, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration apologizing to Taylor Farms over false cyclospora test results, and a reported explosion outside a New York City federal building.
The page was filed under TMZ’s Celebrity News, Internet Culture, TMZ Live and Viral categories. TMZ also directed readers to its community guidelines for comments.
A Disqus comment module appeared below the stream, though the page stated the discussion had not loaded and displayed a troubleshooting message for moderators. It also showed sorting options for comments, including best, newest and oldest.
For viewers who want the daily newsroom watch, the key window is midmorning on the West Coast: 10:30 a.m. to noon PT, Monday through Friday, according to TMZ.
