Tom Brady’s next arena might come with ropes, turnbuckles and a very familiar opponent.
TMZ Sports reports that the seven-time Super Bowl champion is in ongoing discussions with World Wrestling Entertainment, raising the possibility that Brady could appear in a WWE setting as his public back-and-forth with Logan Paul keeps bubbling.
The report did not say what role Brady would take, whether any agreement has been reached, or how physical he would be willing to get if a WWE appearance happens. TMZ Sports said the talks are active, but the outcome remains unclear.
Brady and Paul keep turning up the heat
Brady, 48, and Paul have been trading jabs for months, according to TMZ Sports. The tension began after Brady appeared earlier this year on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, then quieted for a stretch before flaring again over the weekend.
At Fanatics Fest in New York City, Brady slapped Paul, according to TMZ Sports. Fanatics posted video on X from the event with a caption describing another round in the pair’s long-running feud.
The next flashpoint came Sunday at the World Cup Final, where Brady was seen flipping off Paul, TMZ Sports reported. An X post from the account TB EGO showed video of the two at the match and described the moment as Brady and Paul beefing at the final.
Paul is already part of WWE, so any Brady appearance involving him would plug the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback straight into a built-in storyline. TMZ Sports framed Paul as Brady’s WWE Superstar rival.
The Raiders link
There is also a business connection that makes the idea less random. Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, and Ari Emanuel, the CEO and chair of TKO, also has a minority stake in the team, according to TMZ Sports.
TKO owns and operates WWE. That means Brady and Emanuel already have a relationship through the Raiders, the report noted.
Brady has also recently appeared on stage with Cody Rhodes, whom TMZ Sports described as one of Paul’s biggest rivals. The report did not say whether Rhodes would be involved in any potential WWE plans with Brady.
For now, the headline is the talks, not a confirmed match, segment or storyline. TMZ Sports reported that it is still unknown what WWE and Brady may settle on, or whether the NFL legend would step into the ring in any meaningful way.
