Victoria Monét sets October date for Frequency of Love
The R&B star has announced her second album and released “Reach Out,” a Kaytranada and D’Mile-produced single with a Dave Meyers video.

Victoria Monét’s next album now has a name and a date: “Frequency of Love” is due October 2 via Lovett Music and RCA Records, according to Variety.
The announcement arrived with a fresh single, “Reach Out,” which Variety reported was produced by Kaytranada and D’Mile. Monét also released the song’s official video, directed by Dave Meyers, with choreography by Sean Bankhead, a frequent collaborator.
The rollout marks the latest move in a new chapter for Monét after the breakthrough run of “Jaguar II.” Variety reported that Monét began signaling the era earlier this year with “Let Me,” a sultry track that gave fans their first preview of what was coming next.
“Let Me” reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart last month, according to Variety. Beyond that, the outlet reported that little else has been disclosed about the full album.
Camper is attached to the project
One key creative detail has already surfaced. Producer Camper told Variety earlier this year that he would serve as executive producer on Monét’s new project.
The album announcement lands while Monét is finishing her supporting run with Bruno Mars on the European and UK leg of “The Romantic Tour,” according to Variety. She joined the tour in mid-June and has performed in cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid and Milan.
Variety reported that Monét still has three scheduled dates on the run, all at London’s Wembley Stadium Connected by EE. Those shows are set for July 24, July 25 and July 28.
From songwriter to Grammy winner
Monét has long been known as both a performer and a songwriter. Variety noted that her writing credits include work for Ariana Grande and Chloe x Halle.
Her wider mainstream rise came in 2023 with the release of “Jaguar II,” her debut album, according to Variety. The record included “On My Mama,” the single that helped push the project into the spotlight.
That momentum carried into the Grammys. Variety reported that Monét earned seven nominations and won three awards at the 2024 ceremony.
Her wins included best R&B album, best engineered album, non-classical and best new artist, according to Variety. With “Frequency of Love” now on the calendar and “Reach Out” already out, Monét’s next album cycle is officially underway.
