Elisha Cuthbert’s house sale is officially done: Realtor.com reports the actress has sold her West Hollywood home for $1.93 million after cutting the asking price days before a buyer moved in.

The 43-year-old Canadian actress, known for “24” and “The Ranch,” had tried more than once to sell the property in recent years, according to Realtor.com. The home first hit the market in July 2025 for about $3.1 million, then returned at lower prices after being listed and removed more than once.

How much did Elisha Cuthbert sell her house for?

Property records cited by Realtor.com show the deal closed at $1.93 million. The final sale came in just below the latest asking price of $2.095 million, which had been set when the home was relisted on June 25.

That relisting marked a $254,000 drop from the prior ask of $2.349 million, according to Realtor.com. The site reported that the home went under contingent offer only a few days later.

Cuthbert still sold for more than she paid. Realtor.com says she bought the three-bedroom, two-bath property in 2005 for $1.6 million.

What is inside the West Hollywood home?

The home spans 2,109 square feet, according to Realtor.com, and the most recent listing was held by Patrick Fogarty of Carolwood Estates.

The listing described the property as a “storybook traditional” home set among tropical greenery, with access to Chateau Marmont nearby. It also called the residence an “enchanted hideaway” with outdoor retreats and “peek a boo views” toward downtown Los Angeles.

According to the listing details reported by Realtor.com, the house includes an open floor plan, high ceilings in the living area and a kitchen with an island, upgraded appliances and ample cabinetry. The dining area has modern lighting, while the primary bedroom opens to a balcony through French doors.

The bathroom includes a glass-enclosed shower and a dual vanity, Realtor.com reported. Outside, the property offers seating areas and a wood oven for entertaining.

Realtor.com also noted that the home appears to have received a notable interior refresh since its earlier listing photos, shifting toward a more neutral look.

Why did Elisha Cuthbert step away from acting?

Cuthbert has not publicly said why she decided to sell the West Hollywood home, according to Realtor.com. The site reported that she and her husband, former NHL player Dion Phaneuf, have long owned a waterfront estate on Prince Edward Island in Canada.

The actress has recently returned to work with Prime Video’s “Every Year After,” which premiered June 10. Realtor.com reported that the series marks her first major project since 2022.

On the “Today” show, Cuthbert said her break from acting was tied to family life. While discussing raising her children, Zaphire Phaneuf and Fable Phaneuf, she told Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones that after working through the early years with her first child, she wanted to be home after having her second.

“They’re in school now full time,” Cuthbert said on “Today,” according to Realtor.com. “I feel like I have the space and the energy and the heart to kind of leave them and do it.”

In “Every Year After,” Cuthbert plays Sue, the mother of Charlie and Sam, played by Michael Bradway and Matt Cornett. Realtor.com reported that the romance series is based on Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel “Every Summer After.”
