Caitlin Clark stats from Indiana’s 105-95 win over the Seattle Storm were plenty loud: 32 points, seven assists, four 3-pointers and a perfect night at the foul line as the Fever kept their offense roaring Tuesday in Seattle.
ESPN News Services reported that Clark went 9-for-14 from the field and 10-for-10 on free throws. Kelsey Mitchell added 28 points, giving Indiana the late firepower it needed after Aliyah Boston left the game in the second quarter with a lower-leg injury following a hard fall.
The Fever improved to 18-10 and won their fourth game in a row. Seattle dropped to 6-24 with its seventh consecutive loss.
What record did the Fever set against the Storm?
According to ESPN Research, Indiana scored at least 100 points for the fourth straight game, the longest streak of its kind in WNBA history. The Fever have now hit triple digits 12 times this season, also a league record.
Indiana also flirted with another WNBA mark at the free throw line. ESPN News Services reported the Fever made all 26 of their foul shots, finishing one make shy of the league record for most free throws in a game without a miss.
Boston had 11 points before exiting and did not return. Fever coach Stephanie White said after the game that she had no update on Boston’s status, adding that the team felt it “wasn't really worth the risk” to play her in the second half.
White said Indiana’s response came from the players first. “Our team came together. They were talking about it during the timeout together,” White said, according to ESPN News Services. “Talking about being there for AB and everybody has to do just a little bit more. And I think our team did that.”
Clark’s performance added another line to her growing Fever résumé. ESPN Research noted it was her ninth game with at least 30 points and five assists. The rest of Indiana’s franchise history has eight such games combined.
Mitchell supplied the fourth-quarter burst. ESPN News Services reported she had 10 points entering the third quarter, then scored 18 in the fourth on 6-of-7 shooting.
Her scoring streak also hit franchise-record territory. Mitchell has now scored at least 20 points in 12 straight games, tying Diana Taurasi in 2006 and Breanna Stewart in 2017 for the second-longest such run in WNBA history, according to ESPN Research. A’ja Wilson holds the record with 15 straight games in 2025.
Mitchell credited the Fever’s response to what White has pushed since camp. “Obviously, you don't want to see a person like AB go down in any capacity, but I think that next-man-up mentality kind of gives people the confidence to go and be who they are,” Mitchell said, according to ESPN News Services.
Natisha Hiedeman gave Seattle a big scoring night in the loss, making six 3-pointers and finishing with a career-high 33 points.
