That is a lot of star power off the board for a club trying to decide what to do before the deadline. CBS Sports framed Bellinger’s injury as a fresh complication for the Yankees’ front office as the clock runs down.

The baseball chatter did not stop there. CBS Sports’ rumor roundup said an injury had sidelined a top trade candidate and that the Nationals were taking calls on CJ Abrams.
