Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise wants a summer move to Real Madrid, according to Footmercato, putting one of France’s brightest World Cup performers back in the middle of the transfer chatter.

The report says Madrid are ready to step up talks over a club-record deal, with Olise now seemingly open to leaving Bayern for the Bernabeu. The winger had already been linked with Madrid after club president Florentino Perez said he would make a €150 million offer for a player this summer.

That €150m pursuit turned out to concern Atletico Madrid forward Julián Álvarez, according to the same transfer roundup, but the Olise noise has not gone away. The France forward remains one of the names being watched as Madrid assess their attacking options.

United eye midfield rebuild

Manchester United are ready to make a €60m offer for Roma midfielder Manu Koné, Tuttosport reports. The 25-year-old France international is being lined up as part of a reshaped midfield at Old Trafford.

The Italian outlet says Koné could join Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos among United’s central options this summer. The potential changes follow Casemiro’s departure and a long-term injury to Manuel Ugarte.

Arsenal, meanwhile, do not plan to sell captain Martin Ødegaard despite transfer links, according to TEAMtalk. The report says the club still sees the Norway midfielder as a key part of Mikel Arteta’s plans, even as Arsenal look for fresh midfield additions.

TEAMtalk also says Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimarães has been heavily linked with a move to north London, while Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi is another player on Arsenal’s shortlist.

Barcelona look at Laporte

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Athletic Club defender Aymeric Laporte, according to Mundo Deportivo. The report says a left-footed centre back is high on Barcelona’s list, with the 32-year-old among the options under review.

Laporte, formerly of Manchester City, is under contract with Athletic Club until 2028. Mundo Deportivo says a deal could be difficult because relations between Barcelona and Athletic appear strained after previous transfer sagas.

The defender has also played alongside Barcelona youngster Pau Cubarsí for Spain at the World Cup, with the pair helping the national team reach the final.

Inter keep pushing for Spence

Inter Milan remain in talks with Tottenham over defender Djed Spence, Fabrizio Romano reports. The 25-year-old England full back impressed at the World Cup, where he played a role in his country reaching the semifinals.

Romano says Spence’s valuation is currently higher than Inter are willing to pay, but discussions are continuing. The player is reported to be open to the move, which would take him back to Italy after a spell with Genoa in 2024.

Other reported moves are bubbling across Europe. Sport says Bayern Munich have shut down the idea of Harry Kane leaving amid links with Barcelona. TEAMtalk reports Alexis Mac Allister is set for key talks with Andoni Iraola over his Liverpool future, with two years left on his deal.

Footmercato reports Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to join Deportivo La Coruna, which would be the 37-year-old’s 12th senior club. Fabrizio Romano says Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis is pushing to join Arsenal, with club-to-club talks expected soon.

Nicolo Schira reports Everton and Fulham are looking at Genoa right back Brooke Norton-Cuffy, while Crystal Palace have offered Jean-Philippe Mateta a contract extension until 2030. Gazzetta dello Sport says Leeds United are considering Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio, and Inter are still weighing John Stones as a free-agent option.
