SportsLine model puts Koivun in $65,000 3M Open parlay
SportsLine says its 2026 3M Open simulation produced a five-leg golf parlay, with Jackson Koivun top 10 among the disclosed picks.

A five-leg 3M Open parlay built by SportsLine’s computer model would pay $65,000 on a $10 stake, according to CBS Sports, and one of the disclosed pieces is a top-10 finish for new pro Jackson Koivun at +280.
The tournament is set for TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota, with much of golf’s top tier sitting out after the year’s final major, CBS Sports reported. That leaves Scottie Scheffler as the clear headliner in the field. He is the only golfer ranked inside the world top 25 entered this week, according to the report.
Per the latest 3M Open odds cited by CBS Sports, Scheffler is listed at +260 to win. Defending champion Kurt Kitayama follows at +2200.
Koivun gets a model nod
SportsLine said its proprietary model, created by DFS pro Mike McClure, ran the 2026 3M Open 10,000 times before building the parlay. The full ticket is behind SportsLine’s paywall, but CBS Sports reported Koivun top 10 at +280 as one of the five legs.
Koivun, 21, turned professional last month after a decorated run at Auburn. CBS Sports reported that he won two NCAA championships at Auburn and was named SEC Player of the Year for a third consecutive season.
His pro sample is still small, but the early results are already getting attention. Koivun finished inside the top 25 at the U.S. Open and recorded a top 10 in his most recent start two weeks ago at the ISCO Championship, according to CBS Sports.
The report also noted that Koivun’s underlying numbers would place him among the top 10 on tour in strokes gained: around-the-green if he had enough rounds to qualify. CBS Sports said his strokes gained: total and strokes gained: tee-to-green metrics would sit inside the top 25 under the same condition.
Longshots in a thinner field
With so many leading names absent, CBS Sports framed the 3M Open as a week where lesser-known golfers could make up a larger share of betting cards. The report singled out Emiliano Grillo as one player with a track record at this event.
Grillo has three top-10 finishes in his past six starts at the 3M Open, including two top-three results, according to CBS Sports. He is listed at +7000 to win, +750 for a top 10 and +1200 for a top five.
SportsLine said the model’s five-leg parlay also includes an outright winner and two props priced at +700 or longer. CBS Sports reported that the model has correctly identified 17 majors entering the weekend, including the 2026 Masters, its fifth straight Masters, as well as last year’s PGA Championship and Open Championship.
The complete 3M Open parlay was not published in full by CBS Sports. The publicly disclosed angle is Koivun to finish top 10, backed by the model’s tournament simulations and his early professional form.
