Sungjae Im and Daniel Brown share Open lead at 4 under
CBS Sports’ leaderboard had Im and Brown tied at the top, with a crowd one shot back and several big names still on the course.

Sungjae Im and Daniel Brown were parked together at the top of CBS Sports’ golf leaderboard at 4 under, with both players listed as finished for the day.
The CBS Sports board, tied to its Open Championship coverage, showed a busy chase right behind them. Thomas Detry, Robert MacIntyre, Bryson DeChambeau, Alex Smalley and Francesco Molinari were all in the clubhouse at 3 under, while Ryan Gerard was also 3 under through 17 holes and Laurie Canter was 3 under through 13.
That left a tight early squeeze at the front: two leaders at 4 under, seven players one shot off the pace and another pack sitting at 2 under, according to the leaderboard.
The top of the board

The 2-under group included Scottie Scheffler, Si Woo Kim, Nick Taylor, Henrik Stenson, Ryo Hisatsune, Jordan Smith, Victor Perez and Joakim Lagergren, all listed as finished. MJ Daffue was also at 2 under through 16, according to CBS Sports.
Jon Rahm was among the players at 1 under, with CBS Sports listing him as finished and tied for 19th. Ben Griffin, Tyrrell Hatton, Tommy Fleetwood, Alex Fitzpatrick and Matthew Southgate were also shown at 1 under after completing their rounds.
Several others at 1 under still had work left. CBS Sports listed Bud Cauley through six holes, Tom Kim through nine, Pierceson Coody through eight, Cameron Young through three, Matt Wallace through 14, Shane Lowry through three, Jackson Suber through 13, Antoine Rozner through 16, Sepp Straka through 13 and Jacob Bridgeman through two.
Big names at even par
The even-par crowd was loaded, too. Justin Thomas, Min Woo Lee, Russell Henley, Andy Sullivan, Viktor Hovland and Michael Thorbjornsen were all listed as finished at E by CBS Sports.
Rory McIlroy was at even par through two holes, while Brooks Koepka was even through three, Xander Schauffele through two, Collin Morikawa through four, Patrick Reed through five and Patrick Cantlay through one. Ludvig Åberg was also listed at even through three.
The leaderboard also showed a group at 1 over tied for 66th, including Jose Luis Ballester Barrio, Travis Smyth, Lev Grinberg, Sam Stevens, Maverick McNealy and Tom McKibbin after completed rounds. Others at 1 over included David Puig through 17, Corey Conners through 11 and Wyndham Clark through three.
