AdultFriendFinder’s paywall starts at $35.95 a month
Mashable’s billing guide says AdultFriendFinder Gold unlocks key features, with auto-renewal on unless users switch it off.

AdultFriendFinder’s free account only goes so far. According to Mashable, users who want the site’s main paid tools need to upgrade to a premium plan, with Gold membership priced from $35.95 for a single month.
The adult dating platform has been around for three decades, Mashable reports, and counts more than 80 million registered users worldwide. The report says about two million users are active each week.
For users weighing whether to pay, the key split is between AdultFriendFinder’s free access and its two premium tiers: Gold and VIP. Mashable says VIP is not a standalone jump, because users must first have a Gold membership before adding VIP.
What Gold costs
Gold membership pricing depends on the length of the commitment, according to Mashable’s guide. A one-month plan costs $35.95 per month. A three-month membership lowers the monthly price to $26.95. A full-year commitment brings it down to $19.95 per month.
The Gold tier opens up features that Mashable says are limited or unavailable on the free version. Those include unlimited one-on-one messaging, more detailed search tools, and access to higher-resolution photos and videos.
VIP status does not add more on-site functions, according to the report. Instead, it is built around visibility perks, including a VIP badge, entry to a VIP lounge, and priority placement in search results.
How payment works
AdultFriendFinder accepts several payment types, Mashable reports. Credit card options include Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, while American Express is not listed as supported.
Users can also pay by bank transfer or direct debit. Other options include gift cards, plus cash, check, or money order for users in the United States. Mashable says users in the United Kingdom can pay by SMS order on a smartphone.
For people who want to share less personal payment data, the report points to gift cards, money orders, and SMS payments as more privacy-minded options.
Auto-renewal is the bit to watch
Paid AdultFriendFinder memberships renew automatically at the end of the billing period unless the user turns that setting off, Mashable reports. One-time payment methods, such as gift cards, avoid that recurring charge setup.
To stop auto-renewal, Mashable says users should go to the My Stuff tab, then My Account, then Billing History & Credit Card Info. Under Subscription and Product Status, each premium membership has an Auto-Renew on/off switch.
Users with more than one paid tier, such as Gold plus VIP, need to switch off auto-renewal for each membership to stop future charges, according to the guide.
What shows up on a statement
Mashable says AdultFriendFinder billing appears on a bank or credit card statement as “FFNHelp.com*FRIENDF,” rather than the site’s full name.
