Apple discounts hit $500 on MacBooks and iPads this week
Mashable found current Apple deals at Amazon and Best Buy, led by up to $500 off select MacBook Pro and iPad Air models.

Apple shoppers can find as much as $500 off select MacBook Pro and iPad Air configurations this week, according to Mashable’s latest deals roundup.
The discounts come about a month after Prime Day, when big tech deals have become harder to spot. Mashable said it checked Amazon and Best Buy for current Apple markdowns and found the strongest offers away from Apple’s own store.
The roundup points to savings on MacBooks, iPads, AirPods, Apple Watches, accessories and unlocked iPhones. The headline deals include up to $500 off an M5 MacBook Pro or an M3 iPad Air, with several MacBook Pro and iPad Air configurations marked down, according to Mashable.

- Best MacBook deal: Apple MacBook Pro, 16-inch, with M4 Max chip, 36GB RAM and 1TB SSD for $2,999 at Best Buy, a $400 discount from $3,399.
- Best iPad deal: Apple iPad Air, 11-inch, with M3 chip, 1TB storage and WiFi plus Cellular for $749, saving $500.
- Best AirPods deal: Apple AirPods Max 2 for $449, saving $100.
- Best Apple Watch deal: Apple Watch Series 11, 42mm GPS model, for $299, saving $100.
- Best accessory deal: Apple AirTags four-pack, second generation, for $89, saving $10.
Mashable’s top MacBook pick is the 16-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s M4 Max chip. The deal lists 36GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, making it the premium option in the roundup.
The site said that MacBook Air and MacBook Neo deals were not strong enough to highlight this week. The MacBook Pro, though, had multiple discounts across Best Buy and Amazon, with some configurations reaching up to $500 off, according to the roundup.
For iPad buyers, the biggest listed discount is on the 11-inch iPad Air with an M3 chip, 1TB of storage and cellular connectivity. Mashable listed that model at $749 after a $500 cut.
The wearables and audio deals are smaller but still notable. Mashable listed the AirPods Max 2 at $449 after $100 off and the Apple Watch Series 11 GPS model at $299 after the same $100 reduction.
Accessory hunters get a lighter price cut. The second-generation AirTags four-pack is listed at $89, which Mashable says is $10 off.
The deals were listed for the week of July 21, 2026. As with most tech discounts, prices and availability can change quickly at retailers.
