Destiny’s Child remixes are set to surface, Mathew Knowles says

A fresh batch of Destiny’s Child remixes could be arriving within a month, according to Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé’s father and the group’s former manager.
Knowles said on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio on July 22 that the team behind the catalog is preparing to promote multiple remixes, including material that has not previously been released. He did not say whether the tracks will be packaged as an album.
“We’re about to market a bunch of new remixes, some you’ve never heard before,” Knowles told the program, adding that the music is expected in the “next 30 days.”
The drop, as described by Knowles, sounds like a mixed bag for fans of the group’s different eras: some dance versions, some “regular urban mixes,” and tracks featuring guest rappers. Knowles stressed that the core voices remain the group members.
“We have a number of remixes that have never been released, and we’ll be putting those out soon,” he said on the show. “We have some guest rappers on it, but it’s the girls on them.”
Asked whether any rappers would appear on the remixes, Knowles named Missy Elliott as one featured artist. He then appeared to hold back from giving away more names, saying, “Ah, I’ll stop.”
A catalog moment for the group
The tease comes during a nostalgic week for Destiny’s Child. The group recently marked the anniversary of The Writing’s on the Wall, the 1999 album that helped push them into pop and R&B’s front ranks.
On Instagram, Destiny’s Child posted the album cover and celebrated the record’s release date, writing that “receipts were kept,” “rules were written” and “classics were made.”
At the time The Writing’s on the Wall came out, Destiny’s Child was a quartet: Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett. The group’s lineup changed in 2000, when Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin replaced Roberson and Luckett.
Franklin left after only a few months, and Destiny’s Child continued as the trio of Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams. That lineup released Survivor the following year.
The group’s fifth and final studio album, Destiny Fulfilled, arrived in 2004. Since then, the members’ shared catalog has remained a major part of pop and R&B nostalgia, and Knowles’ radio comments suggest there is still unreleased material from that run waiting to be heard.
No track list, release date or full featured-artist lineup has been announced. For now, the clearest clues are Knowles’ 30-day window, his mention of Missy Elliott, and his promise that the remixes include Destiny’s Child vocals.
