A manuscript written 30 years ago is finally getting its public life.

Landon Hail Press has released Inside Out: A Journey of the Soul, the debut book by Los Angeles author, mystic and seer Leon Aryah Lewis. The book mixes personal memoir, past-life narrative and reflections on reincarnation, love, fear, forgiveness and purpose.

For readers who haunt the spirituality shelves, the hook is a juicy one: Lewis wrote the book three decades ago, then left it unread until he returned to it after years of moves and inner work. Now the old manuscript is being published as a mystical autobiography about what he sees as the soul’s route through human life.

The book is available on Amazon, where Landon Hail Press says it has been listed as a No. 1 New Release and No. 3 Best Seller in Mysticism & Spirituality.

Inside Out follows Lewis from childhood through adulthood, framing his life as a spiritual progression rather than a straight memoir. The publisher describes the structure as “a soul’s autobiography,” with Lewis writing from lived experience rather than formal doctrine.

The story begins with Lewis as a boy. He has said he began receiving spiritual messages at age five and felt early in life that he did not fully relate to the physical world. Later, he built an ordinary life while developing an intuitive practice that became known as “Soul Sessions.”

Spiritual memoir has become a sturdy corner of the book market, especially for readers drawn to personal transformation, grief, reincarnation and the idea that private pain can carry a larger meaning. Lewis’ book sits squarely in that zone, with a Los Angeles twist: intuition, self-inquiry and a long-delayed manuscript finally stepping into the light.

Lewis said he wrote Inside Out to help readers examine conditioning they have carried through life and begin confronting what he calls their shadow. “Ultimately, my hope is that my personal journey can serve as evidence that in the search for one's self, you will eventually be guided back to your truth,” he said.

The spiritual memoir release from Los Angeles also includes endorsements from wellness author and TV host Darin Olien and film producer Michael Ohoven, who frame the book as a guide for readers interested in consciousness, divine connection and personal truth.

Samantha Joy, editor-in-chief and founder of Landon Hail Press, called the book “an awakening” and said Lewis’ work points readers toward authenticity, alignment and the purpose of the soul’s journey.

Lewis is based in Los Angeles and works as an author and intuitive mystic. His broader practice centers on awakening, self-understanding and the relationship between spiritual experience and everyday life.
