Laifen is adding a new razor to its P3 line on Aug. 3, and this one is aimed squarely at the pack-it-and-go crowd.

The P3-Blade Electric Shaver will launch at $159.99 through Laifen, following the company’s P3 Pro Electric Razor. Laifen is positioning the new model as lighter and more travel-friendly than its predecessor, while adding changes to the motor, head and foil.

The headline spec is a twin high-speed linear motor. According to Laifen, the system delivers 12,000 cuts per minute on each side and is designed to produce a close shave while cutting down on the buzzy vibration associated with electric razors.

The shaving system also uses a 0.55mm ultra-thin foil and angled inner blades. Laifen says that combination is intended to move through thick, coarse hair with less resistance.

A wider shaving head

The P3-Blade also gets a wider head than the earlier model. Laifen calls the design ArcBlade and says it covers a 146.2-degree surface.

According to the brand, that change boosts coverage by 54% compared with the previous version. The idea is plain enough: more surface area, fewer fiddly passes across the same patch of face.

Laifen is also making a skin-sensitivity pitch with the new shaver. The company says the foil is made from precision-forged stainless steel and has ultra-low nickel release, which it describes as hypoallergenic.

For frequent travelers, the P3-Blade includes a Travel Mode that locks the shaver so it does not switch on inside a bag. That feature is meant to prevent the razor from accidentally running down its battery before it is needed.

Battery, charging and colors

Laifen says the P3-Blade runs for 100 minutes on a full charge. It charges by USB-C, and a three-minute quick charge is rated to provide seven minutes of shaving time.

The shaver will be sold in four colors: black, white, blue and gray.

At $159.99, the P3-Blade sits as Laifen’s newest travel-minded entry in the P3 family, with the company emphasizing a lighter build, a broader head, a fast motor and a battery setup built for short-notice grooming.
