Lollapalooza 2026 style guide puts festival fits under $100
Rolling Stone’s shopping picks lean into capris, lace, western details and fan merch for the four-day Chicago festival.

Lollapalooza 2026 is days away, and Rolling Stone has turned the annual Grant Park wardrobe scramble into a budget brief: every highlighted item in its latest festival fashion guide comes in under $100.
The Chicago festival is scheduled to run from Thursday, July 30, through Sunday, Aug. 2, according to Rolling Stone. The publication reported that Lorde, Charli XCX and Tate McRae are among the headliners, with more than 100 other acts set to perform across eight stages.
Rolling Stone also noted several lineup firsts and hometown angles. Olivia Dean is billed for what the publication described as a major U.S. festival headlining debut, while BLACKPINK’s Jennie is set for her first Lollapalooza appearance. Illinois acts Smashing Pumpkins and DJ John Summit are also listed among the main-stage names.
The trends Rolling Stone is watching
For festivalgoers still building a look, Rolling Stone’s guide points to a few returning styles: Y2K-leaning capri pants, lace pieces and bermuda shorts, plus western and boho touches. The publication said its selections include items from retailers such as Nordstrom, Revolve and Abercrombie, as well as fan-made artist merch on Etsy.
Rolling Stone disclosed that it may receive an affiliate commission when readers buy independently reviewed products or services through its links.
Women’s picks under $100
The guide’s women’s section starts with an editor’s pick from Abercrombie & Fitch: the Dylan Mini Dress, priced at $90. Rolling Stone described it as a 100% cotton, bra-free dress with adjustable straps, a drop waist and a flowy skirt.
For lace, the publication listed the Petal & Pup Avere Lace Asymmetrical Cami at $34.30, marked down from $49. Capri pants also made the cut, with SNDYS x Revolve Capri Pants priced at $71.
Shorts are a big part of the edit. Rolling Stone included Abercrombie & Fitch High Rise Loose Shorts at $45 and Adidas Mesh Sprinter Shorts at $40. The guide suggested pairing the Adidas shorts with an artist shirt, sneakers and a bandana.
Fan gear gets a spot too. Rolling Stone listed an Etsy Charli XCX “Cult Classic” baby tee for $29.60, down from $37, and said it was inspired by a royal blue tee Charli XCX wore during a 2024 Boiler Room set. It also included an Etsy Lorde “Man of The Year” embroidered cap for $26.21, down from $34.95, tied to Lorde’s single from the album Virgin.
For evening layers and western styling, Rolling Stone highlighted an Edikted Sequin Fringe Poncho at Macy’s for $46.20, an Edikted Xaria Studded Faux Suede Halter Top at Nordstrom for $64.80 and an Amazon western chain belt for $9.99.
Men’s picks start with tees
Rolling Stone’s men’s section includes the Abercrombie & Fitch Premium Heavyweight 2.0 Tee at $40, which the guide described as having a boxy shape and longer sleeves. It also listed a Nike Graphic Tee for $39.97, reduced from $47.
The message is clear enough: pack for heat, walking and the lineup, but keep the receipt total below three figures per piece.
