Mova’s robot lawn mower gets an $800 Amazon price cut

The Mova Lidax Ultra 3000 robot lawn mower is now selling for $2,199 at Amazon, according to Mashable, putting the automated grass-cutter $800 below its $2,999 list price.
Mashable reported the deal on July 23 and said the 27% markdown is the lowest Amazon price it has seen for the model. The publication also pointed to price-tracking site Camelcamelcamel for the Amazon low.
The discount lands right in prime backyard season, when the appeal of handing mowing duty to a robot is not exactly hard to understand. The Lidax Ultra 3000 is built for lawns with up to 0.75 acres of grass, according to Mashable’s rundown of the product.
For shoppers eyeing a move from weekend mower duty to app-controlled lawn care, the machine’s spec sheet is the main hook. Mashable says the mower can work on slopes of up to 80 degrees and move over obstacles up to 2.4 inches tall, including things such as rocks and tree roots.

The mower uses two cutting disks, each fitted with six blades, according to Mashable. Its cutting height can be adjusted from 1.2 inches to 3.9 inches through the app.
The app also lets owners create as many as 150 mowing zones, Mashable reports. That means different parts of a yard can be assigned different schedules, such as mowing a front lawn once a week and a back lawn every 10 days.
Mova’s AI obstacle-avoidance system is another listed feature. Mashable says the mower is designed to recognize and avoid more than 300 common objects, including lawn games, pots and shrubs.
The offer is currently tied to Amazon pricing, and deal prices can change without warning. As reported by Mashable, the Mova Lidax Ultra 3000 is sitting at $2,199 for now.
