Oh, Mary! keeps Broadway run going as fans hunt for tickets
Cole Escola’s Tony-winning Mary Todd Lincoln comedy is booked on Broadway through Jan. 3, 2027, with Meg Stalter in the title role through Sept. 12.

Oh, Mary!, the Broadway comedy that turns Mary Todd Lincoln into an aspiring cabaret star, is now scheduled to run at the Lyceum Theatre through Jan. 3, 2027, according to Rolling Stone.
The show, created by and originally starring Cole Escola, opened on Broadway in July 2024 after an Off-Broadway run that was extended twice. Rolling Stone reported that the play has since become one of Broadway’s most talked-about titles and won two Tony Awards in 2025.
Escola, also known for Search Party and Difficult People, originated the lead role. The part has since been handed to a string of marquee performers, including Maya Rudolph, Tituss Burgess and Jinkx Monsoon, according to Rolling Stone. Comedian Meg Stalter is currently playing Mary through Sept. 12.
What the show is about
Oh, Mary! centers on a bored Mary Todd Lincoln who is far less concerned with Abraham Lincoln’s political life than with being taken seriously as a cabaret performer, according to Rolling Stone’s description of the play.
The comedy also follows Mary as she drinks, seeks attention from her distracted husband and torments the small circle around her, including staff members tasked with keeping her occupied and out of trouble, Rolling Stone reported.
Escola told Rolling Stone that the gaps in what many people know about Mary Todd Lincoln helped shape the joke. “She’s not a big personality,” Escola said. “It’s not like she’s some diva who we hear all these stories about. So it’s funny to me to be like, ‘Oh, what if she was an idiot?’ Like, ‘Abraham Lincoln’s wife was blank,’ and I get to fill in the space.”
Escola also told W Magazine that the idea of Mary Todd Lincoln wanting to become a cabaret star was both a comic premise and a personal fantasy, according to Rolling Stone.
Runtime and ticket options
The production runs 80 minutes and has no intermission, Rolling Stone reported.
For ticket buyers, Rolling Stone pointed readers to several online marketplaces, including StubHub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, TicketNetwork and TodayTix. The publication said the show has multiple sold-out dates and described those sites as verified resale platforms.
- Rolling Stone reported that StubHub currently lists tickets for Oh, Mary!.
- SeatGeek had some listed dates with tickets at $113, according to Rolling Stone, with those seats located toward the back of the theater.
- Vivid Seats listings appeared to be around $150 for many tickets, Rolling Stone reported.
- TodayTix, once focused on last-minute tickets, now also lists future-date tickets, according to Rolling Stone.
Rolling Stone also listed discount codes tied to select ticket platforms. The publication said Vivid Seats shoppers can use code RS30 for $30 off a $300 purchase. For TicketNetwork, it listed RS150 for $150 off orders over $500 and RS300 for $300 off $1,000 orders.
With the current Broadway booking running into early 2027, Oh, Mary! still has time to keep its unhinged First Lady fantasy in front of New York audiences. Rolling Stone noted that an extension remains possible, but the confirmed run now ends Jan. 3, 2027.
