Sean Combs solitary confinement reports surfaced Friday after the music mogul was allegedly involved in a fight with another inmate at Fort Dix, the low-security federal prison in New Jersey where he is serving his sentence.
TMZ first reported that another inmate allegedly taunted Combs earlier this week, prompting a confrontation. According to TMZ, the two men shoved and threw each other before prison guards separated them.
NBC News also reported that Combs was placed in solitary confinement after the incident. Reports did not say whether the other inmate faced discipline.
A representative for Combs said they were “unable to confirm this [report] at the moment” when asked for comment, according to Rolling Stone.
Rolling Stone also reported that a Fort Dix spokesperson declined to discuss the matter. The prison representative said the facility could not disclose internal information about any inmate in its custody and that such information would not be public.
