Jordan Clarkson’s night at Zero Bond ended with police escorting him out after an alleged confrontation involving Travis Scott inside the Manhattan members-only club, TMZ reported.
The incident happened Saturday during a Raising Cane’s bash at the New York City hot spot, according to TMZ. The room was packed with celebrity guests before the situation spilled into a scene serious enough for both Clarkson and Scott to be removed from the venue.
A person familiar with what happened told TMZ that the trouble began when a man was allegedly recording Scott while the rapper was speaking with another guest inside the club. Scott allegedly confronted the man over the filming, the outlet reported.
TMZ reported, citing the same person, that members of Scott’s entourage allegedly began throwing bottles after the confrontation. Clarkson then stepped in and tried to calm things down, according to the outlet.
Clarkson, whom TMZ identified as having recently helped the New York Knicks win their first NBA championship in 53 years, was later escorted out by police, the outlet reported. Scott was also removed from Zero Bond, according to TMZ.
A celebrity-heavy party before the disturbance
The alleged clash came during a high-profile party for Raising Cane’s at Zero Bond. TMZ previously reported that the guest list included Tate McRae, Alix Earle, Jake Paul, Logan Paul and other well-known names.
50 Cent also performed during the event, TMZ reported. An Instagram post from the account thoroplated__mediachannel showed material from the bash and referenced Raising Cane’s, 50 Cent, FIFA and NYC highlights.
Zero Bond has become a familiar stop for boldface names in New York nightlife, and Saturday’s event appeared to draw a crowd before the reported removal of Clarkson and Scott.
No public response yet
TMZ said it contacted representatives for Scott, Clarkson, Zero Bond and the NYPD for comment. The outlet reported that it had not received responses.
Scott has not publicly commented in TMZ’s report on the alleged confrontation, and Clarkson’s side has not provided a response in the outlet’s account. Zero Bond and the NYPD also had not weighed in, according to TMZ.
The report did not say whether anyone was injured, detained or accused by authorities of a crime. The details currently come from TMZ’s account and its unnamed person familiar with the situation.
