Bieber is making his sixth start of the season after beginning the year on the injured list with an elbow injury.

CBS Sports reported Cohen’s reasoning included McGreevy inducing 10 groundball outs last Friday, pitching at least six innings in seven of his last eight starts and carrying a 1.89 ERA at home this season.
Cohen also pointed to the Cardinals’ schedule, saying St. Louis has no scheduled off day for the next two weeks, which makes bullpen rest a factor. CBS Sports said the Cardinals had gone 1-4 since Saturday before returning home for a makeup game against the Diamondbacks.
