Cardinals lineman Isaiah Adams to report amid Canada firearm charges
Arizona guard Isaiah Adams faces four firearm-related charges in Canada, but ESPN reported he is still expected at Cardinals training camp.

Arizona Cardinals offensive lineman Isaiah Adams is expected at training camp this week while facing four firearm-related charges in Canada, ESPN reported, citing authorities and a source familiar with his plans.
Adams, 25, surrendered to Durham Regional Police on Sunday, according to ESPN. The police service covers the eastern part of the Greater Toronto Area.
Authorities say Adams faces charges tied to a guns and gangs investigation. ESPN reported the counts as possession of a weapon by crime, possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm without a license, possession of a loaded firearm and possession of a prohibited device.
The charges have not been proven in court. No public comment from Adams was reported.
Police investigation also named Adams' sister
Adams' sister, Allyson Mae Adams, 27, is facing the same four charges, according to ESPN.
Durham Regional Police said in a press release that the charges came from an investigation by the department's Guns and Gangs Unit. Police said four people were involved in the case.
According to police, two of the four people were arrested on fentanyl trafficking charges. Police said officers found more than three kilograms of fentanyl in their vehicle at the time of those arrests.
ESPN reported that all four people were held for a bail hearing. A source told ESPN that Isaiah Adams has since returned to Arizona.
Cardinals keep it brief
The Cardinals acknowledged the matter in a short statement, saying they were aware of the situation involving Adams and would not comment further out of respect for the process.
Adams is entering an important stretch on the field. The Cardinals selected him in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft out of Illinois, and he has been in the mix for a starting job on Arizona's offensive line.
ESPN reported that Adams started 11 games last season: the first five games of the year and the final six. He also started five games as a rookie.
Adams came into the offseason as the incumbent and projected starter at right guard, according to ESPN. Rookie offensive lineman Chase Bisontis is expected to compete with him for that job during training camp.
The Cardinals are scheduled to report to camp on Wednesday, with their first practice set for Thursday, ESPN reported.
