DraftKings bonus tied to Monday MLB slate as Phillies pick leads card

DraftKings is offering new users $150 in bonus bets after a first wager of at least $5, with the bonuses paid within 14 days, according to CBS Sports betting writer Owen OBrien.

The Monday MLB board highlighted by CBS Sports centers on a possible National League playoff preview, with the Philadelphia Phillies hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers. OBrien reported that SportsLine expert Matt Severance is taking Philadelphia on the moneyline after Los Angeles played a Sunday doubleheader before traveling.

CBS Sports said combining those three picks into a parlay at DraftKings would pay +546, meaning a $100 stake would win $546 if all three legs hit, with odds subject to change.

Why SportsLine likes Philadelphia

Severance’s case for the Phillies, as reported by OBrien, comes down to schedule and starting pitching. He pointed to the Dodgers coming off a doubleheader, a Sunday night game and travel before facing Philadelphia.

OBrien also cited Severance’s note that Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez has gone 7-1 with a 0.86 ERA at home.

Model points to runs in Mets-Brewers

For Mets-Brewers, OBrien reported that the SportsLine Projection Model is backing the total to clear 7.5 runs. The model, according to CBS Sports, projects that over to hit in 68.5% of simulations.

CBS Sports said both clubs are starting their Opening Day pitchers. OBrien reported that Mets starter Freddy Peralta is returning to Milwaukee after being traded away in the offseason during the final year of his contract, and that he owns a 4.66 ERA.

Milwaukee is starting Jacob Misiorowski, who CBS Sports said has an MLB-best 1.62 ERA this season. OBrien also reported that Misiorowski has allowed eight runs, four earned, across his past two starts. The Mets entered the matchup after taking two of three from the Phillies over the weekend, according to CBS Sports.

Wrigley weather drives Cubs-Tigers over

SportsLine expert Micah Roberts is backing over 11.5 runs in Tigers-Cubs, according to OBrien. Roberts cited Jameson Taillon’s return after not pitching since June 7 and a Wrigley Field forecast calling for wind out to center at 15 mph, 85-degree temperatures and a 23% rain chance.

OBrien reported that Taillon carries a 5.19 ERA and that Roberts pointed to both the Tigers and Cubs hitting well. The pitching matchup also includes Jack Flaherty, according to CBS Sports.

CBS Sports said the SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times. OBrien reported that the model entered the 2026 MLB All-Star break on a 33-21 run on top-rated MLB picks and returned nearly 30 units of profit on home run prop picks in 2025.
