Fantasy baseball trade values: Ohtani leads CBS Sports’ Week 18 chart
CBS Sports’ Week 18 chart puts Shohei Ohtani, Juan Soto and Yordan Alvarez at the top for H2H points and Roto managers.

Shohei Ohtani is still sitting in the power seat in CBS Sports’ Week 18 fantasy baseball trade values, with analyst Chris Towers ranking him No. 1 in both H2H points and Roto formats for the rest of the 2026 season.
The new chart is built for managers trying to size up trade offers before the stretch run. Towers says CBS Sports updates its fantasy baseball rankings each week to account for injuries, hot streaks and other changes that can swing player value.
The list doubles as a rest-of-season ranking, split into two formats: H2H points and Roto/categories. Towers also notes that players left off the chart are being treated as having very little trade value.
Who tops fantasy baseball trade values for Week 18?
In H2H points leagues, CBS Sports gives three players the maximum listed value of 50: Ohtani, Juan Soto and Yordan Alvarez. Kyle Schwarber follows at 48, with Corbin Carroll at 47 and Nick Kurtz at 45.
The H2H top 10, according to Towers, is heavy on elite bats, with one very familiar two-way superstar at the front:

The top pitcher in the H2H chart is Cristopher Sanchez, ranked 15th with a value of 35. Paul Skenes and Tarik Skubal are next among starters, each listed at 34.
How does the Roto chart differ?
Roto managers get a slightly different pecking order. Ohtani remains first, but his value is listed at 48, followed by Soto at 47 and Alvarez at 46. James Wood jumps to fourth at 46, while Elly De La Cruz rounds out the top five at 44.

Pitching arrives early in the Roto list, too. Jacob Misiorowski is the top-ranked pitcher at No. 14 with a value of 31, just ahead of Sanchez, Skenes and Skubal, who are also valued at 31.
How should managers use the trade chart?
Towers frames the values as a trade calculator: compare what you are sending out with what you are getting back. If the return carries more chart value, the deal may be worth taking.
He also warns that the numbers are a guide rather than a law. A close deal can still make sense if a manager prefers the player coming back, and multi-player swaps can be trickier because roster spots matter.
The biggest takeaway is clear enough: CBS Sports still sees Ohtani, Soto and Alvarez as the safest high-end trade anchors, while the format can decide how far players such as James Wood, Elly De La Cruz, Kyle Schwarber and Corbin Carroll rise or slide.
