Kansas City also gives outfielder Lane Thomas a look: Thomas is rostered in 18 percent and has hit .316, 18 for 57, with four homers and two steals in his past 15 games.

Yankees outfielder Trent Grisham, rostered in 70 percent, made the cut because White said his expected batting average and expected slugging numbers are running well ahead of his actual results. The Yankees face the White Sox for four games and Cubs for three.

Pirates infielder Nick Gonzales is rostered in 61 percent and brings second- and third-base eligibility appeal. White cited his .397 July average, 27 for 68, and noted that three of his six home runs have come during the month.

Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos rounds out the 10 at 54 percent rostered. White said Ramos has hit .272, 22 for 81, with five homers in 20 games since returning from a strained quadriceps.
