The Myles Garrett home sale is officially on the board: the star defensive end’s Cleveland-area property has been listed for $2.1 million after his offseason move to the Los Angeles Rams, according to ESPN.
ESPN’s Kalan Hooks reported that Garrett is putting the Wadsworth, Ohio, home on the market following the trade that sent him from the Cleveland Browns to Los Angeles.
The property sits in the Hidden Lakes of Sharon community, according to the listing cited by ESPN. Built in 2018, one year after Garrett was taken with the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, the home includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The listing describes a 2-acre property with 4,300 square feet of living space. For a buyer hunting for NFL-sized extras, the place is not exactly shy.
Why is Myles Garrett selling his Cleveland home?
ESPN reported that the listing comes after Garrett was traded to the Rams in the offseason. The report did not include any public comment from Garrett about the sale.
The Browns dealt Garrett to Los Angeles in June in a major trade, according to ESPN. Cleveland received two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Jared Verse and multiple future draft picks in the deal.
Garrett and the Rams later agreed to a reworked contract, ESPN reported. Pro Football Talk reported that Garrett is set to make at least $37 million.
What is inside the Wadsworth property?
The home opens with a two-story foyer and two staircases, according to the listing details reported by ESPN. One staircase serves the main foyer area, while another is connected to the kitchen.
The kitchen includes premium appliances, a large center island, custom cabinetry and a walk-in pantry. ESPN reported that it connects with the home’s living spaces.
There is also an executive office with custom cabinets, plus a primary suite with a spa-style bathroom and a walk-in closet, according to the listing.
The four other bedrooms offer additional space, and the home also has a bonus room that the listing says could be used as a game room or flexible area.
Garrett’s home includes a custom bar, a theater and a gym equipped with professional equipment, ESPN reported. Outside, the property has a built-in grill and a fire pit.
The garage setup is another big-ticket feature. A three-car garage is attached to the house, and a separate four-car garage includes an upper level that could be used as an office or studio, according to the listing cited by ESPN.
Garrett’s move closes another Cleveland chapter for the former Browns centerpiece, whose new football address is now with the Rams.
