PrizePicks has a $50 bonus tied to a $5 fantasy play
CBS Sports says the DFS app’s July 2026 offer needs no promo code, but banking rules and age limits vary by state.

PrizePicks is putting $50 in promo funds on the table for new users who make a daily fantasy entry of at least $5, according to a CBS Sports review by Chinmay Vaidya.
The July 2026 offer does not require a promo code, CBS Sports reported. The review says users must be old enough to play in a state where PrizePicks operates, create an account, deposit at least $10 and submit a qualifying lineup.
What new users get
CBS Sports lists the current PrizePicks welcome deal as “Play $5, Get $50.” The review says the promotion was last verified on July 21, 2026, and that PrizePicks is available in 45 states and Washington, D.C.
The age rules are not one-size-fits-all. CBS Sports reports most users must be at least 18, while Alabama and Colorado require users to be 19. Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana and Massachusetts require users to be 21.
PrizePicks supports deposits through PayPal, Venmo, bank account, Apple Pay and credit or debit cards, according to the review. CBS Sports also notes state-by-state restrictions, including that PayPal and Venmo are unavailable in New Hampshire, Maine, Missouri, Colorado and Delaware.
How the contests work
The app’s main format is Pick ’Em, available in 19 states and Washington, D.C., according to CBS Sports. Users choose between two and six player projections and decide whether each statistic will go higher or lower than the posted number.
Pick ’Em entries can be submitted as Power Plays or Flex Plays. CBS Sports reports that Power Plays require every pick to hit, while Flex Plays can still pay if some picks miss. The review lists Power Play payouts from 3x for two picks to 37.5x for six picks.
PrizePicks also offers Pick ’Em Arena in 17 states and Streak in 10 states, according to CBS Sports. PrizePicks says Streak is free to play and can offer a cash prize of up to $1 million depending on how many correct picks a user strings together.
App perks and pain points
The review gives PrizePicks high marks for promotions and existing-user bonuses, citing referral bonuses, Taco Tuesday discounted projections and Flex Friday protected plays. CBS Sports rated the welcome bonus 9 out of 10 and existing-user promos 10 out of 10.
PrizePicks says contests are usually paid out within about 30 minutes after official results settle, according to CBS Sports. The platform also offers 24/7 live chat support, plus email support and a separate dispute address for escalations.
The biggest warning in the CBS Sports review is banking. Users must withdraw at least $10, can make only one withdrawal in a 24-hour period and may face processing reviews of 6 to 12 hours. CBS Sports also reports that deposited funds must be played through once before withdrawal, not just bonus funds.
Apple users have rated the app 4.7 across 480,000 reviews, while Android users have rated it 4.2 across 70,600 reviews, according to CBS Sports figures dated July 21, 2026.
