Scottie Scheffler is giving the 2026 3M Open its biggest headline act, with CBS Sports reporting that the world No. 1 has committed to the PGA Tour’s Minnesota stop for the first time in his career.

The tournament at TPC Twin Cities arrives one week after The Open and kicks off the final three-event push before the FedEx Cup Playoffs. That makes the week more than a post-major comedown: players near the top-70 cutoff in the standings have three starts left to lock up a trip to Memphis, according to CBS Sports.

Scheffler enters looking for his first PGA Tour win since the American Express in late January, CBS Sports reported. He tops a field that also includes Hideki Matsuyama, Sungjae Im, Max Homa, Tom Kim, Gary Woodland, Jackson Koivun and Maverick McNealy.
