Seahawks rookie Jadarian Price draws early OROY betting rush
BetMGM data cited by CBS Sports shows the first-round running back leading ticket share for 2026 Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Jadarian Price has become one of the liveliest names on the 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year betting board before he has taken a regular-season snap for Seattle.
According to CBS Sports, BetMGM lists the Seahawks running back at +750 for the award, with Price drawing the largest share of tickets at the sportsbook at 10.3%. He is also second in betting handle at 12.8%, CBS Sports reported.
The early favorite at BetMGM is another former Notre Dame back, Jeremiyah Love, who is priced at +300 after Arizona selected him No. 3 overall in April’s draft. Love won the 2025 Doak Walker Award and is expected to step into a featured role with the Cardinals, according to CBS Sports.
Price landed in Seattle with the final pick of the first round. CBS Sports reported that the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks tried to move out of that spot but could not find a trade partner, then picked Price as part of their answer at running back after Kenneth Walker Jr. left for Kansas City in free agency.
Walker, the reigning Super Bowl MVP, signed a major deal with the Chiefs after posting career highs of 1,309 scrimmage yards and 5.2 yards per touch in 2025, according to CBS Sports. The report said Seattle also had Zach Charbonnet on the roster, though Charbonnet tore his ACL in the Divisional Round and is not expected to be ready for Week 1.
That injury could leave Price in line for early work ahead of George Holani and Emanuel Wilson, CBS Sports reported. The Seahawks also ran the ball at the third-highest rate in the NFL in 2025, another factor behind the rookie’s betting interest.
Why bettors are watching Price
Price played behind Love at Notre Dame last season, but he still built a packed résumé. CBS Sports noted that he was named a third-team All-American by the Associated Press and was a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award.
His 2025 college stat line included 113 carries for 674 yards and 11 rushing touchdowns, plus two receiving touchdowns. On special teams, he had 12 kickoff returns for 450 yards and two scores, according to CBS Sports.
The report said Price became the ninth FBS player to record at least 10 rushing touchdowns and 10 kickoff-return touchdowns in the same season. He also led the FBS with a 37.5-yard kickoff return average among players with at least 10 returns.
DraftKings has posted rookie rushing totals for Price, according to CBS Sports. The book lists him at -110 to reach at least 750 rushing yards, while 1,000 rushing yards is priced at +225.
Seattle will also get extra preseason attention through HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” with rookies already in camp and veterans due to report Friday, CBS Sports reported.
No Seahawks player has won Offensive Rookie of the Year, according to CBS Sports. Price may also factor into the return game, although NFL teams rarely use their top running back in that role.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald, speaking to the team site, said Price will compete across several parts of the offense and special teams.
“We're going to run wide zone and he's going to run wide zone,” Macdonald said, according to the team site. “We're going to run some gap scheme. He's going to run some of that too and then the pass game he can come alive, too.”
