Medicube’s new Booster Pro X2 skin care device has already taken a sharp price dip on Amazon, with NBC Selected reporting the K-beauty tool is selling for $220, down from $299.
That puts the device at 26% off on Amazon. NBC Selected said associate SEO reporter Ashley Morris checked price tracker CamelCamelCamel and found the current Amazon offer is the lowest price the marketplace has listed for the device.
The Booster Pro X2 launched in March and arrived on Amazon in June, according to NBC Selected. The outlet also noted that it may earn a commission when readers buy through its links.
What the device does, according to Medicube
The Booster Pro X2 is the newer version of Medicube’s original Booster Pro. According to the brand, it has seven modes and six adjustable intensity levels, while the earlier model had six modes.
Medicube says the device combines microcurrent technology with LED light therapy. Its Air Shot Mode is designed to reduce the look of pores, Booster Mode is meant to increase radiance and MC Mode is aimed at supporting skin elasticity, according to the brand.
The company also says the Booster Pro X2 has double the power output of the original device for a more intensive treatment. A Dual Mode lets users combine two modes in one routine, according to Medicube.
The device can be used with serums and sheet masks, including Medicube’s PDRN Pink Peptide Serum Mask, NBC Selected reported. Medicube says the new Mask Mode is intended to help products absorb into the skin.
Users can also connect the tool to the Medicube app. According to NBC Selected, the app can adjust settings such as sound and intensity, while the device’s AI Mode provides personalized treatment recommendations.
How the deal compares
Amazon is not the only retailer listing the Booster Pro X2 below its $299 price. NBC Selected also listed YesStyle selling the device for $258.90, a 13% discount.
NBC Selected said the Amazon listing carries a 4.6-star average rating. The outlet also described the device as offering customizable treatments and said it works for all skin types.
Medicube has had a prominent run in K-beauty coverage, and NBC Selected said several of the brand’s products are staff favorites. The outlet also noted that Medicube spokesperson Olandria Carthen, who appeared on season seven of “Love Island USA,” recently posted results from using the Booster Pro X2.
Other Medicube products marked down
NBC Selected also flagged several additional Medicube deals on Amazon:
- Medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Toner, listed at 46% off.
- Medicube No Cast, Just Glow Collagen Sunscreen, listed at 41% off.
- Medicube Zero Pore Pads, listed at 39% off.
- Medicube One Day Exosome Shot 2000, listed at 35% off.
- Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream, listed at 34% off.
For deal hunters watching the beauty gadget aisle, the main number is the Amazon price: $220 for a device that NBC Selected says was listed at $299 and is now at its lowest Amazon price to date.
