Garth Brooks tickets for the opening run of his Blame It All on My Roots Tour are still out there, but fans looking for the original price may need to move fast. Rolling Stone reported that the country star is starting the tour in Indianapolis in August with four shows at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The tour is being rolled out city by city rather than through one full itinerary announcement, according to Rolling Stone. Brooks set every seat on the tour at $150 and skipped a presale, using a first-come, first-served system for buyers.
Primary tickets for the first leg moved quickly through Ticketmaster, Rolling Stone reported. Brooks is also releasing additional tickets to registered fans through an official waitlist, giving buyers another shot at seats at the original price.
How can you buy Garth Brooks tickets?
Fans can try the official waitlist for remaining tickets at the $150 face-value price, according to Rolling Stone. Buyers who miss that route can look at resale marketplaces including StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats and TicketNetwork, where prices listed in the report generally begin around $200.
Resale prices vary by date, section and marketplace. Rolling Stone reported that StubHub listings for Brooks’ Aug. 22 Indianapolis show started at $204 for a single ticket, with some floor-level seats listed around $375.
SeatGeek had a limited number of listings under $200 for most Indianapolis dates, according to Rolling Stone. The outlet also noted that code ROLLINGSTONE10 was listed as taking $10 off orders above $250.
VividSeats had tickets for most of the Indianapolis shows starting below $200, Rolling Stone reported, while floor-level seats began around $400. TicketNetwork listings for 200-level seats started around $220, with Rolling Stone citing code RS150 for $150 off orders over $500.
What are the Garth Brooks tour dates so far?
The announced Blame It All on My Roots Tour schedule currently centers on Indianapolis. The four listed dates are:
- Aug. 20 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
- Aug. 21 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
- Aug. 22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
- Aug. 23 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis
More stops are expected to be announced one city at a time, according to Rolling Stone. That staggered approach means fans outside Indianapolis do not yet have a full list of future dates to scan.
The tour is Brooks’ first full concert tour since he finished a 30-date stadium run in 2022, Rolling Stone reported. It also comes on the 30th anniversary of his second world tour.
Brooks has played other concerts since that stadium run, including a June appearance at Summerfest in Milwaukee, according to Rolling Stone. If the new tour stays in venues like Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the shows would be a more compact setting than his recent run through NFL and college football stadiums.
