The music of Heated Rivalry has jumped from screen obsession to shelf candy, with a new soundtrack release reaching No. 1 in Amazon’s Movie Soundtracks category, according to Rolling Stone.
The limited-edition rollout comes through Milan Records and includes two vinyl versions plus a CD edition. The main “Montreal v. Boston” vinyl is being sold through major retailers and Milan Records’ website, Rolling Stone reported.
The soundtrack collects 34 songs tied to the series, including Dumas’ “Une Journée Parfaite,” Wet Leg’s “Mangetout,” Philippe B’s “Chelsea Mon Amour,” Baxter Dury’s “Lips” and Wolf Parade’s “I’ll Believe in Anything.” Rolling Stone reported that the vinyl also includes a bonus song.
Two vinyl editions and a CD
Milan Records says the “Montreal v. Boston” package includes a fold-out poster and two colored records inspired by main characters Shane and Ilya and their teams.
A second vinyl version, called the “Icy Inferno” edition, carries the same tracklist but comes on silver vinyl, according to Rolling Stone. That edition is available only through Milan Records and selected Sony-affiliated retailers.
For fans sticking with compact discs, the CD version includes a poster and trading cards, with a similar song lineup, according to the product details cited by Rolling Stone.
Early Amazon customer reaction has been positive, Rolling Stone reported. One buyer said the CD was worth a six-month wait, praised the packaging and said the full versions of the songs helped them reconnect with the series.
A show with a growing universe
Heated Rivalry, based on Rachel Reid’s novel, premiered in November 2025. Rolling Stone reported that the show has drawn more than 10 million viewers per episode and has already expanded into merchandise, live events and a themed rental property inspired by the series that can be booked on Airbnb.
The show’s music supervisor, Scotty Taylor, also spoke about the soundtrack in a recent Billboard interview. “There are no rules in love or music,” Taylor told Billboard, adding, “Love is the answer and truth is the music. Love boldly. Sing loudly and be fearless.”
The franchise has another off-screen spin this month: an unauthorized musical parody now playing in New York City, according to Rolling Stone.
Season two is expected to arrive in April 2027, Rolling Stone reported. Until then, the soundtrack gives fans another way to revisit the series, this time with colored vinyl, posters and trading cards in the mix.
