The USC vs. Oregon prediction market has No. 20 Oregon as a slim road favorite for Saturday night’s Big Ten matchup with No. 12 USC at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, with NBC carrying the game, according to CBS Sports.
Oregon arrives at 2-1 after responding to its loss at Oklahoma State with an 84-0 win over Portland State. USC is 4-0 and coming off a 42-35 road win over Rutgers, CBS Sports reported.
What are the Oregon vs. USC odds?
The number is tight, and it depends on the book. VegasInsider’s board showed Oregon as a consensus 3-point favorite, while listed spreads ranged from Ducks -2.5 to -5.5. The total was widely posted at 61.5.

Why are analysts leaning toward Oregon?
The Ducks have taken the last four meetings with USC, including last season’s 42-27 victory in Eugene, according to CBS Sports. Oregon has also won eight of the past 10 games in the series.
The case for the visitors centers on their offense and USC’s defensive questions. CBS Sports said Oregon averages 49.7 points per game, while Action Network noted USC allowed Rutgers 460 yards and 35 points last week. Oregon quarterback Dante Moore threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns against Portland State, according to Sports Illustrated’s Oregon site.
Action Network analyst Collin Wilson recommended Oregon -3 or better. OregonLive reported that the Dimers model preferred Oregon’s moneyline, projecting a 62.5% chance of a Ducks win. Those are analysts’ opinions and model outputs, not guarantees.
Can USC end its Oregon losing streak?
The Trojans have their own strong argument. Quarterback Jayden Maiava leads the FBS with 12 touchdown passes and one interception through four games, CBS Sports reported, and USC is averaging 43 points per game.
Maiava has been particularly effective at the Coliseum: CBS Sports said he is 11-1 in 12 home starts since taking over as USC’s starter late in 2024, with 32 touchdowns and six interceptions in those games. The matchup places Maiava’s fast-starting offense against an Oregon side trying to rebound from its Oklahoma State defeat.
The available predictions do not fully agree on the best angle. While the side picks cited favor Oregon, CBS Sports selected over 61.5, pointing to the teams’ 69 combined points in 2025 and 63 in 2023. Any wager carries risk, and no pregame prediction can determine the result.
