Nikki Mudarris says a LiAngelo Ball reunion is not on the cards. In an interview on the TMZ Podcast, the former “Love & Hip Hop” star said she cannot move past what she called the “ultimate betrayal” of their split, TMZ reported.
Mudarris discussed the relationship with Towanda Robinson and was asked directly whether she would consider getting back together with Ball. Her answer, according to TMZ’s account, left little room for a romantic reunion.
Why does Nikki Mudarris say she will not reunite with LiAngelo Ball?
Mudarris said the circumstances of the breakup remain painful for her. TMZ reported that she said she was experiencing postpartum depression and raising the pair’s two children when Ball ended the relationship by text.
She also said Ball got Rashida Nicole pregnant. That account is Mudarris’ allegation and is not independently verified by the material available.
According to TMZ, Mudarris said memories of the split can still upset her, though she has learned to live with what happened. She does not expect to live with Ball again, the outlet reported.
Co-parenting is separate from a reunion
Despite ruling out a return to the relationship, Mudarris said Ball remains very involved in their children’s lives, TMZ reported.
That distinction is the heart of her latest comments: the former couple still have contact as parents, but Mudarris indicated that co-parenting does not mean she is open to restarting their romance.
Ball did not respond in the material available to Mudarris’ latest remarks. TMZ said the full conversation also covered her relationship with Ball’s father, LaVar Ball.
